FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Can your designs be customised?

A: Yes. We can partially customise the tiny home layout to suit your needs and desires. We offer a range of interior and exterior finishings as well as a range of fittings, fixtures and flooring options. 

Q: Can the Tiny Home be off-grid?

A: Absolutely! We have solar packages available or can build to allow you to install a system of your choice. We can also set up your home for rainwater catchment and storage. Contact us if you'd like more detailed info on our off-grid options.  

Q: Do I need council approval to have a Tiny Home?

AThe information here is for NSW only and regulations may vary from state to state. Our house products are registered as caravans and as such are subject to the following:

The Local Government (Manufactured Home Estates, Caravan Parks, Camping Grounds and Moveable Dwellings) Regulation 2005 states that the prior approval of the council is NOT required for:

(a) the installation of not more than 2 caravans, campervans or tents on any land, so long as they are not occupied for more than 2 days at a time and not occupied for more than 60 days (in total) in any single period of 12 months, or

(b) the installation of not more than one caravan or campervan on land occupied by the owner of the caravan or campervan in connection with that owner’s dwelling-house, so long as it is used for habitation only the owner or by members of the owner’s household and is maintained in a safe and healthy condition, or

(c)  the installation of a caravan or campervan on pastoral or agricultural land, so long as it is merely occupied seasonally by persons employed in pastoral or agricultural operations on the land.

(1)   the enclosed area of all annexes that are attached to a caravan must not exceed the enclosed floor area of the caravan.

(2)  for the purposes of this clause, the floor area of a caravan that has a maximum internal width of less than 3.1 metres must be determined as if that width were 3.1 metres.

Q: Do you deliver?

A: Yes, we can arrange delivery nationally. Delivery is an additional cost.

Q:  How long does it take to build?

A: Build times vary depending on the model and depending on the impact of Covid19 on our suppliers. Generally most builds take between 8-12 weeks.
